A series of seven (7) Moultrie digital game cameras were installed on both the
Ranch property and the property ofji843(a)(2) [jn an attempt to capture either a digital
photograph or digital video of either anomalous creatures or lights which were reported
to be frequently seen in the area. A protocol was also established to have the memory

M ap of C reature Sightings from A pproxim ately Three-M ile Radius around the
Ranch
A G oogle Earth map of the ranch and surrounding areas was created (approx altitude of
map was from 30,000 feet). T he locations of each creature sighting together with last
known direction of travel were obtained from each eyewitness and then plotted on the
map. T hen, using an assumption of straight line travel (extrapolation of known direction
of movement of creatures), a series of straight lines were drawn on the map. T he red
circles represent intersection points of these lines. In a sense, these intersection points
could be construed as arbitrary, particularly since it is recognized that the creatures may
have changed their direction of travel once out of sight of the eyewitnesses.
Nevertheless, with the above caveats in mind, it is noteworthy that there are three
intersection points of the creatures’ putative lines of travel It can be seen from the
figure that all three convergence points are very close to the ranch. O ne intersection
point lies just west of the ranch and the other two lie in the vicinity of B ottle Hollow
reservoir. If locations for sustained and continuous night watching to capture
sightings/photographs of these creatures were to be nominated, the three locations
delineated by the red circles could be top of the list.

Utah Ranch Report A bstract
T he “Utah Ranch" investigation is an ongoing project which to date has incorporated
several deployments of investigators, scientists and engineers. T he primary focus of
the Utah ranch investigations are:
• T o comprehensively interview a large number of people who have lived in the
area surrounding the Utah Ranch in order to delineate the scope and variety of
eyewitness reports in the area. T he purpose is to establish commonalities and
differences with the ongoing reports of unusual activity on the ranch property
itself.
• T o use portable sensor equipment to measure baseline magnetic field
parameters, EM spectrum data, ionizing radiation and chemical elemental
analysis of soil on the Utah Ranch property and surrounding areas. It goes
without saying a primary purpose is to obtain definitive photographic, digital,
sound and chemical evidence of purported anomalies.
• T o use plants, including transgenic plants, as biosensors of multiple radiation and
magnetic field deviations from the norm on the ranch property. T hese plant
experiments have been tailored as user friendly reporting systems for
electromagnetic energy detection based on extensive research of the peer
reviewed literature.
• T o initiate a variety of games, puzzles, and other strategies in order to establish
communication with the source/origin of reported anomalies on the ranch
property.
Witnesses have reported unidentified balls of light at close range, daytime sightings of
“dog-like" creatures running on two legs, unnatural animalistic howling/screaming, “little
people", prehistoric-like birds and a maggot which measured about 8-feet long and 2 to
3-feet in diameter.
T o date, May 7, 2010, over twenty-five (25) people have been contacted and
interviewed in person, predominantly at their homes. T his group consists of all life-long
residents of the area within a mile or two of the ranch property, four (4) local police
officers, eleven (11) Native Americas, including a Shaman, the director of the local Fish
and Wildlife office, twelve (12) ranchers, six (6) business owners and approximately
fifteen (15) members of the Mormon Church. All of the people interviewed have had
7

first hand encounters Eleven (11) separate individuals witnessed a bipedal "dog-like"
creature and/or orbs of light at different times in different locations near the Utah Ranch
property. Many of the reported observations took place during daytime and nighttime
and occurred from twenty years ago to as recent as April 2010. T he eyewitness ages
ranged from fifteen to seventy-seven years old.
T he following is a summary of the Utah ranch investigation findings to date
1. Comprehensive multiple witness descriptions of a large "dog" or “wolf like
creature or creatures which have the ability to walk and run at speed on two legs.
Multiple witnesses have described in their interviews, when the creature is standing on
two legs, the estimated height is six to seven feet. From these interviews, there may be
at least three separate types of creatures. T otal number of independent witnesses
(separately interviewed) eleven
2. Multiple witness descriptions of small, hairy, three-foot tall “trolf like creatures
with long arms which appear to run in a similar way to chimpanzees or orangutan.
(Four independent eyewitnesses)
3. Multiple witnesses (> 2) reports of large “worm" like creatures, a prehistoric
“pterodactyf like creature, “little people" and other anomalies. It should be noted the
vast majority of reports detailed in points 1-3 have allegedly occurred within the last five
to seven years.
4. Interspersed with the allegations of multiple creature sightings are multiple
reports of unidentified flying objects, to include unidentified aircraft and “balls of light'.
Some of these allegations are recent and some historic recollection.
5. B AASS has obtained photographs of tracks in the snow which remain
unidentified. T hese photographs identify fa) two sets of tracks merge into one, and (b)
where tracks in the snow on the|Ranch property appear to walk "through" a
barbed wire fence B AASS has also obtained a variety of hair samples from the vicinity
of these tracks. T hese hair samples are currently undergoing scientific DNA analysis.
AAP Person
4
£ AASS has conducted comprehensive electromagnetic signature sweeps of the
Ranch property. O ne set of measurements taken at a point on the mesa at the
ranch indicated a strong, yet to be explained, signal which was not detected on previous
readings. T he report described: “Location D2 recorded two large signals in both the
horizontal and vertical positions. These signals were not present the day before when
measurements were taken at DO. The first signal was 12 10, 12 13 and 12 16 MHz and
B

the second large spike was 12 32.5, 12 35.5 and 12 38 5 MHz. The signals fell in the
frequency bands of 1164-12 15 and 12 15-12 40 MHz. This space is allocated for E arth
exploration-satellite (active), radio location G56, radio navigation-satellite (space-to-
E arth) (space to space) G132 , and space research (active). Provisions G56 and G132
state these frequency spans are primarily for military purposes, but they can be used by
other federal agencies in support of science and research" T he signals were detectable
between 1-2 G Hz with both horizontal and vertically polarized antennae. Further
measurements and research, particularly into satellite transmitting frequencies and
times will be required to identify the origin of these signals.

In the meeting with|1843(a)i2>~|on March 24, 2010, he began by describing an event
which had just taken place the Monday prior to the visit. He explained a Skinwalker had
been on his property causing his dogs to "go wild. claims the dogs cornered the 1843(a)(2)
Skinwalker and after repeatedly running into the fence, it (Skinwalker) took off toward
the old abandoned farm house across the road from his property. He said it was

house, but stood by his front door looking out He said it typically leaves an odor
behind, but since he did not leave his home he was unable to comment on an odor.
Recalling his encounter with the Skinwalker at 1843(a)(2) in
January of 2010, he described the creature to be six feet tall and hunched over and
weighing approximately 250 lbs. He could see the fur where the light was shining on it
and described it as black fur and short like Investigator^ Person 14 hair with the gray
coloring mixed in. T he ears were pointed on the side of its head and it had a shorter
looking tail. It ran like it was leaping. T he head was described as looking like a G erman
shepherd dog without the pointed nose. T he nose was described to be more similar to
a human nose. He said the Skinwalker should not be looked at directly and said the
howl of the Skinwalker is a warning to let everyone know it is passing through.
- discussed further the blue ball of light witnessed last year in relation to B ottle
Hollow Lake. He explained at first he thought the light to be a blue colored street light.
He also described its rate of speed to be like flare. It also crossed his mind it might be a
meteor. O nce the light disappeared near B ottle Hollow Lake, he said he went back
inside the building. He came back out about thirty minutes later to see if the light was
around and said he then saw the three helicopters. He believed they were chasing the
light and when they had lost track of it, they (helicopters) simply flew away. T he light
ascended from the lake area and took off toward '‘Skinwalker Ridge" in an arc-like path
after hovering in place for about ten seconds. T he details he gave were necessary to
complete the necessary data for any lighting anomalies.
|also gave more information on the floating balls of light he mentioned as being so
commonly seen among the community. T he distance of these floating balls of light was
approximately 125 yards away from him. He made the comparison of the behavior of
these balls of light to be similar to "Glenda the Good Witch" on the Wizard of Oz movie
when she was arriving or leaving as a ball of light. He said the lights would move
behind something as if they were trying to hide when his presence was noted.
Further details of the creature and the lights are noted on the attached spreadsheets.

O n April 20, 2010, a re-interview with 1843(a)(2)
1843(a)(2)
was conducted to obtain additional
detailed descriptions of the dog-like creatures she encountered twice in September
2009. Details of the encounters can be found in the September investigative reports
—- summarized her first sighting which occurred on September 11, 2009 at their
residence. O n this evening, she had just arrived home from shopping and observed a
shadow ‘lurking" in her backyard. She originally thought the shadow was the family
1843(a)(2) horse. After using the restroom,[ went to the backyard to tend to the horses
with her daughter. She noticed the horse's water was completely empty, which rarely
1843(a)(2)....occurs. At this point, glanced over her shoulder and witnessed a creature
crouched down on top of the shed. She was able to view the creature for a few
seconds before it leapt out of sight.
1843(a)
was unable to give a detailed description of the creature since she witnessed it
from behind for only a few seconds. T he detailsf ] was able to provide confirmed) 843(a)(2)
the information she provided to investigators in the September and O ctober 2009
interviews. She stated the creature was around eight feet tall, completely hairless with
dark brown/grayish skin. T he creature was definitely not human and was muscular.
Details are included in the attached Dog-like creature spreadsheet. A new detail
emerged in that at the time of the encounter,[1843(a)(2) ' four-year-old daughter was also
outside. When the creature had leapt away, the four year old said the creature looked
like a kangaroo.
1843(a)(2) seconcj encounter happened the next night on September 12, 2009. She was
also unable to give a detailed description of this creature since this was a brief incident
which happened at night. Please see the September investigative report as well as the
attached Dog-like creature spreadsheet for complete details.

in one place and stares at her. T hese dreams do not give her good feelings.
Coincidentally, soon after the dreams began, 1843(a)(2) |saw a black dog by her fence
which reminded her of the wolf from her dreams. T he dog was standing on four legs

In the meeting with 1843(a)(2) on April 21, 2010, a main objective was to obtain more
detailed information about the creatures he has witnessed throughout his life. Please
see the attached Dog-like Creature spreadsheet for supplemental information. Upon
asking 1843(a)(2) for detailed information concerning the creatures, he asked for a
pen and piece of paper and drew the pictures below to accompany his verbal
descriptions.

so they began to throw stones. He also made the general statement when these
creatures are present, all dogs get quiet He described one time in late summer when
all of the horses were running erratically in the field. His guess is one of these creatures
was scaring them. When he looked for the source of the commotion, he did not see
anything as his assumption, by his own admission, is clearly speculation.
1843(a)(2) provided the B AASS team with two different recordings of a howling sound
which he says is the same howling sound he had heard growing up in the Fort

Biosensor Plants
O n April 6, 2010 biosensor plants were transported to the
AAP Person

Spiderwort plants and six T obacco Plants. T hese plants will serve as biosensors for the
presence of various types of radiation and/or chemicals/materials which can damage
DNA. T hree of each plant was placed in two different locations (living room and
B edroom) under grow lights which were set to cycle through sixteen hours of light and
eight hours of dark daily. B iologist aap Person 29 utilized the April trip to check on the

health of the plants. At the time of tne April deployment, the plants had only been at
"I Ranch for two weeks, no observations or analysis can be drawn concerning
mutation levels in either tobacco or spiderwort.
• Tobacco heterozygous for the sulfur m utation (Su/+): T his assay is based on
a naturally occurring mutation at the Sulfur (Su) gene. Plants heterozygous for
the gene, Su/+ are pale green. Mutations that inactivate only the Su allele are
visualized as dark green spots while mutations of the wild type allele result in an
albino spot (yellow/white). B elow is an example of the type of result that would be
expected upon exposure to a mutagenic agent.
Figure 9 - Su/+ tobacco plants exhibiting m utations in both alleles
Heterozygous plants are required for the bioassay. Initially the plants will be grown
inside the trailer and assayed for color spot changes. O nce weather conditions at the
29

ranch allow, plants can be moved to outside locations, either in pots or perhaps planted
directly in the ground ^^p Person 29 [inspected all T obacco leaves for the presence
of dark green spots; none are present at this time.
• Spiderwort: T his assay consists of microscopic observation of stamen hairs
for alterations tn hair cell coloration from blue to pink T his indicates a
mutation inactivating the dominant blue color allele allowing expression of the
recessive pink color allele. Additionally, pink spots can also be assayed in the
flower petals. T his assay requires microscopic observation, and will be done
on future scientific deployments. A close up of a spiderwort flower is included
below showing the appearance of the stamen hairs, which will need to be
examined under a microscope.
Figure 1 0 - C lose up picture of spiderwort stam ens and stam en hairs
T he plants require sixteen hours of light per day to promote flower development. Since
the assay involves microscopic examination of the flower, the examination of stamen
hairs and petals will be done by the scientific staff during future routine deployments.
During the April deployment, B iologist ^P Person 29 |assesseCj the health of the
plants and insured the light cycles are running on sixteen hours of light per day. T he
April deployment was too soon to perform microscopic analysis.

and/or growth rate between the three locations. T wo types of seeds will be grown in
each location; Stokes Sugar Snap Peas and Stokes G reen B eans. B oth seed types are
treated with fungicide to control contamination by fungus. T he following steps were
taken when planning and setting up the seed experiments to ensure consistent
environmental factors are accounted for:
• All locations will be watered with distilled water.
• Specialized containers known as ''cone-tamers’' are being utilized. Cone-
tainers are elongated pots are arranged in a rack for optimal use of space
which can be reused many times. T his approach will allow the plants to grow
for longer periods of time in order to assess plant growth. T wo seed types
were planted on each tray allowing for fortymine of each seed type to be
grown.
Figure 1 1 - Exam ple of C one-tainers and associated racks
• T he cone-tainers were placed under Jump Start T 5 G row light systems. T his
was to control the light cycles at each location. T imers were set on the light
systems to provide sixteen hours of light and eight hours of dark.
31

• T o control for extraneous light, large enclosures were placed over the grow
light systems. T he amount of light will therefore be consistent.
Pictures will be taken and germination charts will be filled out twice daily for all
locations. O nce germination data collection has been completed, germination charts
AAP Personwill be produced. When the experiment has been completed, plants from4
Ranch will be brought back to B AASS for analysis. All plants will be measured and
weighed.
