From a little civil war, it has grown steadily and inexorably into a full scale conflict between the world’s three majoippqwerjp& States, the Soviet Union, and Communist China. '‘WrflfifliieMial people have"used tKe’apprSach of patriotism and love of God and Country to twist decent human feelings into dangerous channels of thought and action. With their charges of treason and sympathy with the enemy, they have aroused a good portion of the populace to a state of fear, distrust, and hatred of those who seek peace and love. Unfor tunately, because some unconventional individuals have been associated with the^geace.povement. that entire operation has been seriously hindered. Your government is a military puppet, a mere parrot of the monstrosity that is the Military-Indus trial complex. Your senators, except for a few, are robots, speaking what they are told to say. ™YPW„P^taUl. .ijnfort'^atelX;...a,pawn,pf. their needs and demands. We have contacted him several times concerning the state of affairs, and he has said that he could do nothing to change them, for if he were to speak out against the Asian conflict, he would be removed. This is what happened to the late Mr. Kennedy who, in his great .humanitarianism, was Bffic'ttnt to s&nfice’ls'Wals aMMsKnsi^ the sake of the Military Industrial octopus. He paid the supYeme''p^ efforts’in Behalf °f humanity, Make no mistake. Your government is not in the White House or the Congress. IT IS IN THE PENTA GON, AND IN THE HEADQUARTERS OF THE VAST ” DEFENSE "-ORIENTED INDUSTRIES. It is THEY, not the President or the Congressmen, who run the United States. The facade government is merely to allay undue alarm or suspicion of the people. Examine another aspect of the Asian war, the ECONOMIC side. ,Do you recall that, in the stock reports just recently, the Dow-Jones average dropped sharply BECAUSE OF A RUMOR THAT n or th, vie tn a.m W d W W a pe ace ..b id ? D oe s the staggering implication of this news evade you? Stock prices suffering a heavy loss because of a rumor that peace might come to pass! This thought is most distressing. Your economy relies so heavily upon war and destruction, that if it were to stop, THE UNITED STATES ECONOMY WOULD SUFFER A MASSIVE DEPRESSION!.. Your ' money system would collapse like a house of cards. Millions would be unemployed, sick, hungry and homeless. Tremendous industrial complexes would close their doors. The utterly appalling fact is this: WAR IS PROFITABLE. Highly so! Every major conflict has been accompanied by a strong peak in your monetary prosperity. Peace has usually been economically painful 1 After World War 1, the nation coasted for a while upon the fat put on during the boom of the war years* In 1929, the bottom fell out. After the Korean War, in the 1950's came another recession. What comes after Vietnam? No one knows, and no one wants to find out. The war in Vietnam is bringing an unheard- of degree of affluence in the United States. Why kill a good thing by ending the war ? The philosopy, in essence, is this: ft is economically expedient to send military forces to Vietnam and elsewhere in Asia in order to wage war, because in doing so, the United States1 economy is bolstered and maintained at a high level of prosperity; human life is secondary to the preservation of economic well-being! : It is thus evident that, unless a drastic change is made in the structure of your economy, war will never end because the Military-Industrial complex WON'T LET IT! Many of you fear Communi™ w^^^to . fear come from, I ask you? From, within yourself? NO! ft was brainwashed into you by the Military- Industrial complex. Who controls all your news media? The government and the advertisers. Who, •then, is in a position to dictate what.shall.be^ ISSU E NO . 24 FLYING SAUCERS INTERNATIONAL O ffictarjown al of the JU LY, 1966 Amalgamated Flying Saucer Clubs of America, Inc. ' -control through the use of psycho-politics (brllwashing by controlled news management). ; Consider this: In order to survive, a commer cial medium, such as a newspaper or magazine, requires a vast amount of advertising revenue*. The mere subscription fees will not cover the costs. Thus, they depenci/or their continued existence upon money paid by advertisers. Suppose, then, that the - editor of a certain newspaper decides that he is ■ opposed to the Vietnam policy, and says so in his paper. The advertisers simply say to the editor, ’’Either you toe the mark and print what we want, or weVI withdraw our advertising. h ' ' 1 Such pressures are a fact of life. The newsmen are torn between their .higher devotion to Truth, and also to the lower level of their physical needs. Rather than jeopardize their security and their ■ . futures they, of course, submit meekly to power. Their actions are fully understandable, and we do not hold them responsible. ; We throw the blame directly on the Military- Industrial complex which, by its~undertn^^ threats of’force, and economic pressure and retali ation, has crushed the spirit of American journalism and turned it from a dynamic motivating force in American life into a weak-willed, subservient mouthpiece for the power-masters. We blame then# for the, death of journalistic and individuality ! One more comment on this topic: May I say that 'a better economic system is already known to-the leaders of the Flying Saucer Movement. It is the system known as Universal Economics. As we have said over and ovei* before, it is the non-money economic system which M UST be applied on your planet before you can start to resolve most of your . major problems and thus begin to establish a highly- ' advanced, non-destructive state of existence on Earth, such as we of more advanced planets have '. enjoyed for so long. INVESTIGATE THIS SYSTEM to evaluate it for its merit — then ACT to apply it! YOUR VERY SURVIVAL AS A CIVILIZATION MAY DEPEND UPON IT! . ' Perhaps this is an opportune time to clarify a few questions which have been asked about us* ~ ' Do WAni Korendor work with the local planets in our operations! Yes, we do cooperate with them " a great deal. However, our work on Earth is relatively independent of the local planets* We have many times overstepped what is considered to be the limit of interference upheld by Venus, Mars, and other planets* This has caused a good deal of debate between them and us. Each time we have pointed out that we of Korendor are basically pragmatic in nature. Although we do respect the laws of self-des tiny, we . feel also that where stepping in is required to prevent disaster, it is our right and our duty to do so. ' We have interfered in such places as the United : States, China, Russia, and on a large scale in Vietnam. This has caused no end of consternation in - the local Tribunal of Planets* We are sympathetic to their viewpoint, but we do feel that their policy is limited in its capacity to achieve the desired goals* It is our opinion that one cannot stand on the sidelines and achieve any noticeable results* j As I have said before, we have infiltrated your planet. We are directly involved in Earth’s life. You might say that you have been invaded — a strong way of phrasing it# jto be sure, but nonetheless, factual, since we walk and work amongst you daily! We have.heeAashed, about our physical appear ance. We are humanoid, indistinguishable from yourselves, except that in our natural form we aver age three to four feet in height* Every other dimen sion is proportionately scaled, so that photographs of us would not reveal our origin in any way. We are able to^rease our height while on Earth through a te* process related to telepor tation. It is concerned with recording the atomic and molecular structures of our bodies, and then repro ducing them identically on a larger scale. Differ ences in our internal structure are adjusted by the computer which controls the reproducer* L Our most common skin color is a little darker than yours, although we have skin colors which vary as yours do all over the Earth. Usually, however, we would look ’’tan” to you* We are NOT green, blue, or heliotrope, as has been suggested! Z u Concerning our language, we generally we one 'of two tongues and we are fairly familiar with a third. On Korendor itself we speak the native language, ' Korendian. It is similar in many ways to your own languages since it, like yours, was originally derived .from Galingua, one of the too universal tongues* The other is Solex Mal, which is more familiar to you, since it is used by your local Solar System planets. It is seldom heard now in our sector of ■ space, as Galingua has replaced it almost completely. Unlike your own, however, the Korendian—■ Galinguan. speech is very rhythmic, and has few ; sibilant sounds, such as ”s” or ”z”. Some of the sharper sounds like ”c” and ”k” are minimized. It is a beautiful language which is very musical and pleasant to hear * ; - J 1 Perhaps you would be surprised to learn that ancient Latin was liberally-taken from Galingua. ; There are many similarities Tn the to© languages. Even modern English has roots on other worlds! Y / In concluding my message to you, may Iiay^. people of Earth.: open up your minds:and your hearts " to the world around you. There is so much to be learned, so much to be discovered. Don’t waste precious hours and days in bigotry and ignorance, and in senseless fighting and killing. To do so is ■truly a crime against nature and humanity. At this stage where you have the very stars almost in your grasp, how irrational and barbaric it is to spend futile hours warring with your brothers. As an old saying on your world ■-'puts it: "As you make your bed, so shall you lie in, it.” The decision does ? not seem difficult. Here are the alternative#': '.A ■ ; world living in harmony, justice, security and abun- ' dance for all, or a world continuing to reap the bloody harvests that grow from the seeds of hatred and mistrust* If left to their own devices, the majority of mankind will forge onward to a destiny of' destruction and annihilation,' oblivious to the danger in their actions. They are short-sighted; they care ' < little for the future. ' ■ ' . 7 K is X2H New Age People, dedicated to the wel fare of all mankind, and having the vision, and under standing of the ways to build the better world of tomorrow, who must lead the way. You have the future in YOUR hands, if you will but shoulder your responsibilities. The Flying Saucer Movement, as you call it, belongs to you. ■ Support it in every way possible. Help it to grow until it is influential though©ut your world. Go pi# into the world and r guide toe mis guided,.'find the lost, and rec over toe ■ : strays. We are behind you all the way. As we have said many times before, we will take two steps for every one that you take to-help yourselves* ; . The time has come for nations to ’’bury the' < ' hatchet”, to clasp hands, and plunge into toe ..future- ■ ' ■ together — in co-operation toward mutual goals, : : Look to toe heavens and realize that your destiny ■ is not in bleak, atomic desolation,, but in the magnifi- f cent greatness that you can achieve if you will but ■ 7 work for it. Choose the right path and you will soon qualify to join with us in our journeys amongst the stars* ' ;■ ' ■ ' Va i Luce (Go in Light).” Kalen-Li Retan 3. s 8^ gU x O er o to u s 0 0 o 3 0 0 0 c to 6 co to M u 3 a U m © o ft rt W oc d• to > h 1 u a rt i o u s ° ft 4~> O 2 J 1 , . . u O V „ 'i tn o 'fa 5 b» S ^ ® 0 >O O h u ah fl ® 5 ft to ^ X q - a to 5 © 6 u ® > h U T h G J A uh tn A © a rt H © ft 0 2 > 4 o co to p A ug £ rt 6 ^ "2 3s, r Si U s % od ge. s rt ° ® ftft ft rt O Soh Tito ^>6 R to itn co ® rt H © o rt ft W g o rt H 4 t p rt ft ft © 8 © rt P b fa S o » . to c 0 to ft < ft □ p B t d B u to 5 xt rt L rt ® Q ft : 5 ?>3 A rt 8 H rt A kt? ft w ft ^ to rt ft Jg W H- ft ft SB £ft 2 > m fa; B £ to ^ r* 0 to ^d O O +> rt to to toft A to 2 to ft c p « tto " ^ 0 Sh-S ft 2 ft - » .S w rt 5 to 2 ^ To O G 9 s'i U U S ?H 2 91 o s a CM O toO g o 2 M U m JX © p < 2 p to x g fa s Q rt £ 2 T> m •P o£ O © if to s toto to u to 3 c rt 5 ® »T! rt fa ft ft r t m Hh < ^ It ^ Or faO fa 1 to w 5 11 rt « b s. ft rt£ Hwt O rt-S t; 0 d ghs to ft ft Q to O to ® rt fQ © u ft 0 o w 2 O E H a ft ft § § 2 w o ^ 0 w 0 to a 1 ft 0 O © Q rt a; w rt o,H ® € * u 1 2 o 0 to s to to r t l Ot t> ft rt Fl c o ft ft ft t c k 'ft rt O to U OS z 5 Q 1 H o a c So os w on Sr hto § £ s o x H o i rt rt i ft 5 ft ft □ p rt T * 7 W H to rt ® C ft M o 2 ft to 0 ft © ft p .2 to p a to 2 ft ^ a 5 co p ,° « p o4 q ® p ft ft ft ft rt ft ^ & A rt o to rt P 3 ft Vs>, to ft ’6 p o 11 s 0 O CM O O o rt 1 U to ft * 4. o «J3 3 oa_<0 u□ra tn w c ■M H u. <0 E o ft o ch ^ q p Q fa p h < w o o Q o o w h 0 ft © ft a to o to u co fa to ft © .5 SU 2 8 A M C a - t u © © ■to © 4 © © p ® c to < U £ fa co fa O 2 < ^ H co ^ c - rt ^ fa fa Q to rt H k to 0 © r to Q O to to 1 - o b So r 2 o tn * * m CM © ft rt H Q U rt p. m 2 O to to o s t h o t ft rt ® b h ? ft © to to fa o o z g M 0 rt 0 a o rt Q t 8 o u © ft ft © ft .H Z © X H i ® ft to rt s o a 00 ft o tn © 00 © o rt ft 21 i H >1 ft ft to M J?% o ft © ft ft c h ft to to OS ft rt ft rt © rt L ft c to ■to R .. rt to rt o o o o rt rt © A +JU ft to h to ft ft 1 S' 5 o : p « p ft rt to to w O tn 5 • m to ft a © ft rt H © o rt ft to rt rt « 8 to « to o to p 00 p Q I < to : ft to w rt 8 pi h 7 toO OJ to p a to © to <© u rt ft, s co ft z to p u p 1 to u p 0 CM ft rt 84J ® ft ft P 1 ft o s - > | o P -to h O 0 Q z rt 5 rt q to p rt ® ft ft p rt to to .8 rt ® p rt 1 © G r t m rt 2 2 to fid ® rt g to ^ H ft2 ^ ft 2 ^ rt ft US ft © to m rt P ft rt £ to 0 £ 0 rt to < a to 0 o 1 p ft 4J ft 9 ^ rt ® to +J to P 2 S GO ‘ to ® p P u M p m to . 10 c ? 0 p o rt ® fa U m to P » to ft T to H w 4 a O to * * W Im i o 4 to z 2 a r c 0 © 2 d H © g 3 & J rt V to A Jeb to 5 ‘4 © t L h 0 rt : K w J « to 5 a rt r 0 « r p c b fa ,u = u m fa fa to o z 1 80 ft h © or. rt a w © § "5 5 M rt s to to to H O fa O z □ fa z o 2 § u 2 to © 0 a to a rt 3 ... ©0 W ft © s to ch to ft A r-4 to < o zH > rt O s > ft < o "3 ........... rt ft . o r £B rt B < 3 m S t< ® rt rt f w u 2 O w A S O S H H ft L O2 >4 rt h h 3 z ^ to Q a to ft rt to ® ^ ft © © to to ft u to ft cy co ® rt H ft rt > ft Q0 ft 0 ft O to O z w o fa a ei ffi < 0 S 8 o H £ ’-2 Vs £ 2 rt O •V ft ^ to ® © w P rt ft p tn th to 9 b 0 ft ft s ^ H to 3 to q to Q < A Q H w a rt r ft rt 1 co ft p O 51 N ft 5 ft .to M to p V ft , s rt d) " ft ft to rt - o w ® 2 0 £ 0 rt h H q 0 3 w to s H O rt 0 H 0 rt 1 1 o .& ft50 ft ft rt a to 00 „ 2 a » 5 g k 0 o a > 0 2 s 8 o c H g ft to i E ft © tn w rt H p rt > b ft So rt to o 1 ’ft ■S to 0 •rt rt •fa to a to J p £ ° ? £3 0 h? fa W U yl fir r> fa o §5 ft ft O ft to g a s o rt p« rt oo si ^ ft O 43 to rt ^ o o N to i to a i * v co 15 E z oH R x ft) 00 2 o 0 Q U o O 0 n g 5 r ^ fa « rt u M © CD © bl; C rt H r 0 SP " 0 z § to a 3 2 ’ o g j a fa £ to . » © s to c 0 tt M a to © g G > 0 © t u Si rt ft l-< m N a © a rt q © a rt ft tn ia 00 Q cn © 00 to © o >j ft ft o z 5 O o rt r- rt 3 k rt to o P to rt g ft ft rt to tn L © 05 ft Q K oe to to ft rt 5 to 9 to O S o 5 rt to p 1 “* CO - to 3 v B to J Ci K ■ to q L £ c o7 Hrt to o rur < to to p to| to to 3 | o rt’ to w > f 0 ft ftft to to ft ? 2 o 0 m rt -Id 'Ct h to 1 to Q 1 1 o to to 1 o L. 1 to to ft < rt Cm to CA to w kssubss 1I C ft ft tort to .s Ei ■ to i tt ■ to 'J prt|: k ■3 1ft X o H 1 • • ft: c 1 c I cc a ft ft ft rt to , rt ^ Cl ft rt ft V > ft 9 R• * ft! AGE SONGS by Mollie Thompson SPACE-TALK The powers that be will tell us we’re alone. They’ll tell us that in space we are unique; On this little desert island we call Earth The human race is just a kind of freak. When we send our envoys into space There’ll be a smile upon this planet’s face, ’Cause brother, right out there—Pm telling you, There's another human race; it’s very true! They’re a very, very peaceful crowd, For they just never go to war. And they cannot interfere. This is by Universal Law. The spaceman’s message to us all Is based on how to banish fear, And if we only understand, ‘We will find it heaven here. 'While we must rely on war, We never will 'be happy here. While this world’s economy Is based on hardship, strife and fear. How do they live without a war In their lands of milk and honey ? They don’t need economy. Because they don’t use any money! They cannot give us any ships,- So we must try and build our own. But they are waiting right out there. Oh, my friends, we’re not alone! How do they go at such great speed, And vanish then without prediction? Because they use free energy, ■ And there isn’t any friction. Brother have you seen their ships ? Sisters have you seen them glow, - ■' As they dance and hover in the sky, - And- make our' fas test jets look slow ? 5 9BSS^^ © aklaiib M ^ib un e w V ' IB * »U #H I» M »«#W »«.«»»'♦ «M fe«M ttti»»W * WiBBl^^ w it m m » * r wm i !1 Flying Saucers Are ® Poppindp AM Over U l^^gi^^l^lilj^ tftfc* iW fpn ac F/rm ^ unmip gru? OUR NEW NAME, Our magazine, formerly called ”UFO International'’# has now become ’'Flvmp Saucers InteinationaT1, winch we feel to be a more appropriate title, since Flying Saucers are no longer Unidentified Flying Objects as Mr as we are concern ed. Hying Saucers have become a serious issue with thinking people all over the world. We believe that most of the objects which have been sighted have been of extraterrestrial origin, controlled by intelli gent beanys who in term# are very’- much like us.
